• Louisville commitment Anton Gill – one day after helping his high school team to a state title – made an unofficial visit to the KFC Yum! Center on Sunday. Another prospect, Evansville sophomore JaQuan Lyle (photo), made his third trip to U of L. He was offered a scholarship by the Cardinals. Henry Clay sophomore Trey Grundy and Ballard sophomore Quentin Snider – a U of L commitment – were also there for the win over Pittsburgh.
• Campbell County junior Nate McGovney made a visit to Morehead State University on Saturday. Morehead coaches have seen him play several times this season. He’s considered one of the state’s top ’13 prospects.
• Henry Clay sophomores Trey Grundy, Jordan Green and Christen Cunningham all made a visit to Cincinnati when the Bearcats played Louisville.
• Perry County Central senior star Kendall Noble and Christian Academy junior China Dow made unofficial visits to Western Kentucky on Sunday.
